Psychotherapy: What is it?
Psychotherapy (also known as talk therapy or mental health counselling) is a conversation-based process with a licensed professional who helps you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and patterns. Psychotherapy offers a safe, non-judgmental space where you can talk openly and work through whatever’s been weighing on you, big or small.

You might be wondering, "Is psychotherapy for me"?

People come to therapy for many reasons from seeking ways to cope with anxiety to simply wanting to feel more like themselves again. You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit.
Psychotherapy is really about having a time and space dedicated to you and your growth. Together we can use that time to explore your inner world, work toward emotional resilience, challenge old patterns, and even enrich your relationships. Everybody's work in therapy in unique, and I am here to support you along the way.
My Approach
I employ an attachment-based approach to therapy paying special attention to the experience of emotion in the mind and body. I am guided by compassion, humility and a desire to meet my clients where they are in order to help them grow at a comfortable pace.

I specialize in anxiety and attachment issues, however, I work with clients experiencing a variety of general mental health concerns, tailoring my approach to meet unique needs and goals. I am committed to lifelong learning and professional development to make sure my clients have access to the best care I can offer.
